What is Skip the Counter?

Help make your rental experience even faster! After Activating Accelerated Check-in, submit your payment and accept the rental agreement to Skip the Counter and go directly to your vehicle. The gate agent will confirm your details as you exit the lot.

When you get to the rental location:

No need to go to the counter or kiosk
Select a vehicle that matches the car class you rented
Keys are in the vehicle, drive to the exit gate
Be ready to show the gate agent your Skip the Counter ticket, driver's licence, and credit card

This optional service is offered free of charge at select locations. Check if your location offers Skip the Counter.

Skip the Counter Requirements

After Activating Accelerated Check-In, you must also meet the following requirements to be eligible to Skip the Counter:

Reservation must be at a rental location that offers Skip the Counter.
Reservation must not exceed 30 days.
Reservation must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Reservation cannot include certain add-ons that need to be added to vehicle (i.e. mobility devices, etc).

Reservation cannot be prepaid or direct billed to a 3rd party (i.e. Voucher, Business Account, etc).
Renter must use a major credit card to secure rental (debit cards do not qualify).
The name on the reservation must match the name on the credit card.
